I accessed my credit reports online, but i can't change certain info?

i%26#039;d like to remove a bunch of old addresses (general delivery and stuff that makes me look like i was a vagabond (i was). also, i%26#039;d love to add some accounts that are in good standing, but i can%26#039;t seem to access that info. will someone take that info. over the phone at these credit bureaus? or do i need to contact the creditors and ask them to add my good accts. to my credit reports?

request copies of all 3 credit bureaus from the respective companies. you can request any past addresses, and any employments be removed from your report and they should remove it. The only thing that they don%26#039;t remove is current address and credit information by just your request. good and bad credit can only be added by the creditor if they are a subscriber to the bureau. Most creditor that are members automatically add the information ans it updates. If they are not members they are unable to add information.

First you need to contact all three credit reporting agencies and tell them what you believe is wrong and they will assist you in adding comments to the reports and investigate errors and have them corrected.
