From Adam Milton, your Guide to Day Trading

This week's day trading newsletter discusses whether being in contact with other traders while you are trading is a good idea or a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.

The newsletter includes:

- the discussion of whether being in contact with other traders is a good idea or not,
- a discussion of how to invest in a stock without buying the stock and with much lower risk,
- and the weekly economic calendar with volatility expectations.

Good trading :-)

Too Many Cooks

Trading can be a rather solitary profession, so many traders like to be in contact with other traders (e.g. phone calls, text messages, online chat, etc.) while they are trading. Is it a good idea to discuss (or even be aware of) the trades that other traders are making, or is that a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth? The answer is both yes, it is a good idea, and no, it is too many cooks, because it depends upon the traders and their trading style ... find out if being in contact with other traders is a good idea or not

Low Risk Stock Investing

Long term stock investing is the type of trading that most people are familiar with, because it is the type of buy and hold investing that is used by the non trading public. Long term stock investors typically purchase stock in a company that they have confidence in, and then wait for the stock price to increase (i.e. they buy, and then hold the stock, no matter what) ... learn how to invest in a stock without buying the stock and with much lower risk

Economic Calendar With Volatility Expectations

There are several news releases from the US and Europe this week, and only a few news releases from Asia. There are five high volatility news releases from the US, six high volatility news releases from Europe, and two high volatility news releases from Asia. Markets from all three regions will probably experience medium (US) to high (Europe and Asia) volatility and average (US) to significant (Europe and Asia) price movement throughout this week ... find out which news releases will affect your trading
