 | Until a few weeks ago, were you at all worried about the benefits paid Greek government workers and union members? Once again, we are reminded how interconnected the global economies are. Who would have guessed that a country whose population is less than 4 percent of our own could cause such damage to market prices? Worry about Greece's debt crisis and its possible spread (among other things) caused a nearly 200-point drop in the Dow last week. Fortunately, the problem was pretty much resolved over the weekend. | |
